INFORMATION ABOUT SPRING BALL!
BSWB Spring Ball League begins January with evaluations. Pinto 7 and above divisions will evaluate January 10th followed by Drafts and practices. Season consists of 14 games total, played one game during the week and one game on Saturday, games begin 1st week of March. Pinto and up divisions will have a tournament of champions at the end of the season. Standings will be kept for Pinto and above divisions.
All Foal games are played on Sunday mornings.
Foal, and Shetland players are randomly selected to teams (no requests are accepted) Pinto, Mustang, Bronco, and Pony teams are drafted to teams by coaches. All-star evaluations and information will be posted on the website prior to all-star season.
********PLAYING AGE CHANGE *********
Pony playing age has changed as of October 8, 2022, the player's playing age is the age of the player as of April 30, 2026. No playing up or down divisions. The system will automatically place your player in the correct division.
BAT RULES:
All players per Pony Baseball Rules must use a wood bat, bat certified with the USA certification, or upper division can use bbcore bats. USSSA bats are not allowed.
COACHING: BSWB relies on volunteer coaches for all divisions. If you are interested in coaching a team, please fill out the volunteer section during registration. Division coaches meeting will be held the week of December 8, 2025. Commissioners will be contacting coaches prior to this date.
FAMILY DISCOUNT
If you are registering more than one player in your family this season, you will receive a $10 discount on the second player, a $15 discount on the third child's and $20 discount on the fourth if applicable. In order for the registration system to recognize that your family is registering multiple players, please register all of your players at this time. On the Review Page, there is a tab near the bottom to "Register Another Player" - please click on this tab to ensure that all of your family's players are registered within the same order.

***Spring 2026 Registration Fees *** Take advantage of the 6 Payment plan beginning in October and ending in March. Initial fee increases when registering in later months. All fees due by March 15, 2026.
Refunds: A $25 processing fee on all refunds, until teams are formed. Once teams are formed / drafted and posted refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis for medical or family emergencies only, less processing and uniform fees. NO refunds after 2/1/26
Registration fees cover approx. 5-month program, facility use (upkeep, water, electric, maintenance etc), insurance, uniforms, baseballs, umpire fees. Financial statements are on the bswb.org website under about BSWB.

**Registration open dates are for all divisions. Each division will fill and close at different times prior to the registration close dates. Register earlier to avoid being placed on a waitlist or missing out on the 2026 spring season.
